Not at all! Our Dublin kizomba socials and Cork themed dance nights welcome complete beginners through to experienced dancers. We run guided instruction before each social, so you'll pick up the basics and connect with others at your level. Everyone's here to have fun and make friends, not to show off.

We run weekly kizomba and salsa socials in Dublin most Fridays and Saturdays, beachside dance gatherings in Dún Laoghaire on selected weekends (especially during warmer months), and themed dance nights in Cork once a month. Exact dates are posted on our contact page so you can plan ahead.

We're specifically designed for adults 45 and over, though we've found our community skews between 45-70. This creates a comfortable space where you're dancing with people in a similar life stage, which makes the whole experience feel more relaxed and genuine.

Come alone! Most people do, and we rotate partners throughout the evening so you'll dance with different people. It's a great way to meet folks in your area and build your social network. The whole point is connection, not arriving with a pre-made couple.

Wear comfortable clothes you can move in—no need for formal wear. For Dún Laoghaire's beachside events, bring a light jacket since coastal evenings can get breezy. Dance shoes or smooth-soled shoes work best for all our venues, though we're not strict about it. Most importantly, bring an open mind and your sense of humour.
